Bikes must be brought and delivered to the event organisers on Saturday 21 May 2016 as no bikes will be accepted on the Sunday.
Participants can either deliver their bikes directly to the changeover point at Drynachan Lodge themselves (the preferred option), or they can deliver them to the Links from where the organisers will transport them (with any attached bag containing clothing etc) to Drynachan.
Bikes will be supervised overnight by a private security firm.
Delivery Direct To Drynachan
The organisers prefer that bikes are delivered to Drynachan by particpants. To avoid congestion on the narrow roads to and from Drynachan, participants should combine forces and transport as many bikes as possible on each vehicle.
Bikes will be accepted at the change over point in the field next to Drynachan Lodge between 2.00 pm and 7.00 pm on Saturday 21 May 2016. The motorists’ route to Drynachan is signposted from the A96 at Gollanfield so that all motorists travel into Drynachan from the WEST via Balmore and leave EASTwards towards Dulsie Bridge.
Delivery To The Links
If a participant wishes the organisers to transport their bike, then the bike should be taken to the Links car park in Nairn between 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm on Saturday 21 May 2016. The organisers will take every possible care but cannot be responsible for damage to bikes in their possession.
Clothing & Equipment
Any items of clothing or equipment, which participants wish to leave in advance at the changeover at Drynachan must be securely attached to their bike in a clearly numbered bag.
Any items which are left at the changeover in a clearly numbered bag after a participant has taken to their bike will be taken to the bike area at the finish.
