The Nairnshire Challenge is not a race. Nevertheless, the official clock at the finish will give finishers their times and these will be published in the local press, on this page and on our facebook page.
Ultimately, the spirit of the Challenge is in the taking part. So whilst plenty of people are keen to complete the course in good time – and many put in truly awesome performances – everyone is in it for the experience, for the challenge and reward of the hills, the moor, the glimpses of wildlife, the camaraderie of the other participants and the marshalls and the welcome back at the links.
Hundreds of entrants complete the course in anything between 2½ and 7 hours. Every single one gets RESPECT. The fastest time in the last five years was Kenny Riddle’s 2 hours 4 minutes (2:04:34) in 2009.
